Melissa Sims has served as Chief Executive Officer, Alset Title since September 2020. Sims has also enjoyed an illustrious legal career of more than two decades spanning a practice that includes real estate, municipal, mass tort, probate, and commercial litigation with Sanders Phillips Grossman, LLC, Wimbiscus Law Firm. In private practice, Sims argued a precedent-setting probate case before the Illinois Supreme Court. Recently, her groundbreaking local government preemption case was quoted as national precedent by the United States Supreme Court. Sims earned her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, attended Lewis University, and obtained her juris doctorate from Northern Illinois University, College of Law.

Frank D. Heuszel, JD, CPA, CIA, is the President of Alset Title. He has served as a member of DSS’s Board of Directors and as the company’s Audit Committee chairman. The DSS Board of Directors appointed Mr. Heuszel as the CEO of DSS in 2019. Before joining DSS, Mr. Heuszel had a successful career in commercial banking and business turnaround management, where he served in senior executive roles with US and international banking organizations. Mr. Heuszel also operated a successful law practice before his time with Alset and DSS. In addition to being an attorney and executive manager, Mr. Heuszel is a retired Certified Public Accountant and Internal Auditor. He is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Houston Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Section.

Jason T. Grady has served as Chief Operating Officer of DSS since July 2019, managing operations of 9 business lines and over 30 subsidiaries, as well as developing emerging market opportunities across diverse business operations. Bringing this expertise with him, he now also serves as Director for Alset Title. Grady previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing before becoming President of Premier Packaging Corporation in August 2018, a position he still holds. Before joining DSS, Grady served as Director, Business Development at Berlin Packaging and Vice President of Marketing at Parlec Inc. Grady earned a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
